Why CITICOLL?
The idea of Citizens Comprehensive was conceived in 1995 when African Citizens Development Foundation (ACDF), private initiative to reverse the tragic effects of indiscipline in African society was established. As part of its youth development strategies to actualize its vision of building a cultured society, ACDF established the college to serve as a citadel of mind building characters by excellence and integrity.
Citicoll was established on the 12th October, 1997 with seventy (70) Students and ten (10) Teachers to catch Youths, mould them to produce a ''Total Child".
Citizens Comprehensive College focuses on educating students on the importance of moral virtue and honour integrity in academic and other areas of endeavour.
We play an important role in the development of the student's personality as well as his intellect capable of enabling him to face the millennium development challenges, through our rich skill acquisition programmes and co-curricular activities.
What is the relationship between ACDF and CITICOLL?
Citicoll is the first project of the foundation. It was established as one of the strategies to prepare African youths for the global development challenges of the new millennium. The school was established to take special interest in the development of the students, even after their exit from the College. The Foundation remains fully a stakeholder in their further development. For this reason, all CITICOLL graduates are admitted into the Foundation as Life-Members. The Foundation will ensure that they are admitted into tertiary insitutions and that they get quality job after graduation.
